Jim Lenahen
Minister
Jim Lenahen graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 1980. That same year, he married his high school sweetheart, Helen, starting a lifelong partnership rooted in love and service.
For nearly a decade, Jim built a successful career in corporate consulting. But in 1989, he answered a higher calling and transitioned into full-time ministry alongside Helen. Together, they moved with their three children to Boston, embarking on a new chapter dedicated to serving God and His people.
In 2006, with their children grown and beginning their own journeys, Jim and Helen returned to Atlanta to lead Northview Church. Their experience, wisdom, and unwavering faith have guided the church through seasons of growth and transformation, inspiring members to deepen their relationship with God and one another.
Jim’s leadership and Helen’s partnership continue to be a blessing to the Northview Church family, reflecting their steadfast commitment to God’s mission.

Helen Lenahen
Helen grew up in a close-knit Italian family just outside of Philadelphia. In 1980, she married her husband, Jim, and the couple began their life together in Stamford, CT. They later moved to Atlanta, where they encountered the transformative message of the gospel. Helen and Jim were baptized into Christ in the Chattahoochee River, beginning their spiritual journey.
In 1989, Helen and Jim entered full-time ministry in Boston and have since devoted their lives to serving God in various roles across Boston, Atlanta, and Europe. They have been blessed with three children—Christine, Michael, and Katie—along with two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and seven cherished grandchildren.
While Helen’s favorite role is being “Mimi” to her grandchildren, she also passionately serves as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Northview Church, where she helps nurture the next generation in their walk with Christ.

Sajjan Sharma
Sajjan immigrated from India with his family in 1975. He received his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Purdue in 1993. For the past 28 years, he has dedicated himself to full-time ministry. He earned his MSW degree in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Psychology and Biblical Counseling in 2025. He has led churches globally and in New England with his wife, Lisa. He has recently joined the Northview Church staff.

Lisa Sharma
Lisa Sharma brings a unique blend of academic achievement and spiritual passion to her role as the Women’s Ministry Leader at Northview Church. A 1996 graduate of MIT with a degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, Lisa felt called to full-time ministry shortly after completing her studies.
Her journey with her husband, Sajjan, has taken them across the globe, serving in churches in India, Bulgaria, Albania, Boston, and Springfield, MA. Together, they’ve built a legacy of faith, raising two children and nurturing countless lives along the way.
Now settled in the Atlanta area, Lisa leads as a Minister with wisdom, compassion, and a heart for helping women grow in their faith. Her experiences as a wife, mother, and global servant shape her servant leadership, making her a trusted guide and mentor to the women of our church.

Cory Cole
Youth Minister
Meet Cory Cole, Northview’s dedicated Youth Minister. A Roswell native, Cory has been part of the Northview family since his own middle school years. His faith journey began here, culminating in his decision to follow Christ just before heading off to college at the University of Georgia.
During his summers in college, Cory served as a full-time counselor at Camp Swamp and later as an intern with Northview’s teen ministry. After earning his journalism degree in 2017, Cory returned to Roswell, balancing a part-time role as a photo editor at CNN while continuing to intern at Northview, focusing on middle school ministry.
Now serving full-time, Cory brings his passion and energy to a variety of ministries, including middle school, campus, and Spanish-speaking ministries. His deep connection to the church, combined with his love for guiding the next generation in their faith, makes him an invaluable part of the Northview team.

Sydni Brown
Youth Minister
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she has always been driven by her creativity and deep faith. Baptized as a teenager in 2017, Sydni’s life has been a testament to her commitment to God and her pursuit of excellence.
After her baptism, she embarked on a journey to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing. During her college years, Sydni honed her skills on film sets as an Assistant Director and Producer. She also gained invaluable experience working with television and film production companies as a development intern.
Beyond the film world, Sydni’s heart for service shone brightly during her summers as a counselor at Camp Swamp, where she guided and mentored youth.
Today, Sydni has returned to her hometown of Atlanta to follow her calling in full-time ministry. Her unique blend of artistic talent and spiritual dedication brings creativity, passion, and purpose to her work in the church.
We’re blessed to have Sydni on our team, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to use her gifts to inspire and serve others!

Ashlyn Bennett
Young Adults Minister
A proud Georgia native and graduate of the University of Georgia, Ashlyn Bennett has been attending Northview since 2016. Over the years, she has served in the middle school, teen, and now young adult ministries, where she is passionate about mentoring and walking alongside students and young adults in their faith journeys.
Ashlyn works full-time as a high school science teacher, sharing her love of learning and discovery with her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing board games, and expressing her creativity through watercolor painting. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve and grow in her faith alongside the Northview family.
Mike & Gina Cellino
Mike and Gina Cellino have been residents of the Atlanta area for 25 years and dedicated members of Northview for the past 18 years. Their journey together began at the University of Georgia, where they met and became Christians, and then married in 1992.
After moving around for Mike’s career, they eventually planted roots in Atlanta to raise their four children. Today, all their children live nearby, thriving in their respective careers.
Mike works as an account manager for Cisco Systems, while Gina pursues her passion as a photographer. Together, they embrace their faith by serving others with the talents God has entrusted to them. Mike is often found crafting or fixing things with his woodworking and handyman skills, while Gina shares her gifts through photography and a love for cooking. They find joy in living a life of service and fostering meaningful connections in their community.
Jim & Virginia Lefler
Jim and Virginia bring decades of wisdom, faith, and leadership to our church community. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Jim graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1971 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and later earned an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the author of The Complete Guide to Grace and co-author of Spiritual Discovery – 7 Principles for Spiritual Growth.
Virginia, a gifted writer and speaker, is the author of A Gentle & Quiet Spirit and Pursuing Purity and Spiritual Beauty. She also co-authored Spiritual Discovery – 7 Principles for Spiritual Growth with Jim, showcasing their shared passion for helping others grow spiritually.
Married in 1972, Jim and Virginia have built a loving family that includes two married sons and four grandchildren. Now living in Canton, Georgia, they continue to inspire others with their faith, their writings, and their commitment to serving God together.

John & Beda Roberts
John and Beda are devoted members of our church community, combining their love for God and their professional expertise to inspire and support others.
John was born in Atlanta and grew up in Tennessee. While attending Clemson University, he began studying the Bible and became a Christian in 1984. After graduating, John moved to Boston, where he met and married Beda Cordero in 1991. Together, they raised three children and eventually returned to Georgia, where John earned an MBA from Georgia Tech. He is passionate about the Word of God and is the author of A Griever’s Guide to Life, a heartfelt resource for navigating loss with faith and hope.
Beda, originally from Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, has a rich background in psychology and social work, holding both an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. She serves as a mental health professional, bringing compassion and expertise to her work in supporting others.
Now living in Marietta, Georgia, John and Beda are committed to serving their community and sharing God’s love through their faith and professions.

Jamie Sirois
Jamie Sirois grew up in South Carolina and earned her BA in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina, where she met her husband, Rick. They were married in 2000 and are proud parents to two boys, Ricky and Phillip.
In 2007, Jamie was baptized at the Columbia Church of Christ, where she actively served in the Children’s and Young Marrieds ministries. Her passion for faith and community shines through in her dedication to ministry and helping others grow in their walk with God.
In 2017, the Sirois family relocated to the Alpharetta, GA area to support Jamie’s career as a Product and Business Manager at HP, Inc. Despite her professional commitments, Jamie continues to be integral to her church family, balancing work, faith, and family with grace and determination.

Michele Smith
Michele Smith grew up in South Dakota where she received Bachelors and Masters degrees from South Dakota State University. She completed her PhD in Child and Family Development/Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Georgia, with additional training in Medical Family Therapy at Duke University Medical Center. She has taught Masters students in Marriage and Family Therapy programs at the University of San Diego and Mercer University (Georgia) for 15 years. She has also taught resident physicians and graduate students in integrated behavioral health as part of Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Orthopedic residency programs at Emory University, the University of California, San Diego, and WellStar Atlanta Medical Center for 22 years.
Michele is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specializes in working with people who are experiencing challenges in their health, emotions, behavior, and spirituality. Michele serves in various capacities on professional and civic boards and participates in community-based volunteer activities. She loves hiking, backpacking, and spending time with family and friends. She is a proud mom of two adult children, William and Meaghan.

Armstrong Soo
Armstrong Soo grew up in Hong Kong before moving to the United States for college. His faith journey began in 1991 when he was baptized in San Francisco. It was there he met Margaret, and the two were married in 1996. Together, they have two sons, Lance and Kyle, who bring joy and energy to their family.
In 2015, the Soo family relocated to Atlanta, where they have continued to grow in faith and community. Armstrong works as an engineer with AT&T and also runs a real estate and tax preparation business. Margaret and Armstrong share a passion for making new friends, exploring new destinations, and sharing their love of Asian culture with others.
The Soos are an integral part of our church family, embodying hospitality and a heart for connection. Whether through friendship, travel, or ministry, they inspire those around them to embrace God’s love and build meaningful relationships.

Mike Van Frayen

Danielle Edwards
Danielle Edwards is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in grief, trauma and domestic violence recovery. Danielle works in private practice and the government sector where she has partnered with various organizations to provide specialized grief support programs for justice-involved youth, people who have experienced DV-related losses, and caregivers of bereaved children.
Prior to being in private practice, Danielle worked in healthcare for 7 years providing support to individuals and families managing chronic and/or terminal illnesses. Danielle has a Masters of Social Work from The University of Georgia. She enjoys music, dancing, yelling “Who Dat,” and spending time with her family and friends.

Christine Law
Church Board
Christine Law hails from Jonesboro, AR where her early spiritual formation was due to her amazing and godly parents and the gloriously healthy Southwest Church of Christ. She is a graduate of Harding University, one of the Christian colleges affiliated with the Church of Christ. She and her late husband, Mark, moved to Atlanta in 1996 and are the parents of twin sons who are now adults. She continues to live and work in Alpharetta where she bakes, hikes, and holds bible studies.

Mike DeLeon
Michael was born in the Philippines and spent most of his life in Los Angeles, California. He was baptized in 1996 while in college at the University of Southern California where he received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Michael has been married to his wife, Cheri, for 23 years and they have two children (Jake and Bekah). His family moved to Georgia in 2021. Michael works for a local municipality as the Department Engineer managing Capital Improvement projects and development plan reviews. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching college football, and playing basketball.

Zach Clark
Church Board
Zach grew up in the Atlanta suburbs, where he has lived most of his life. His faith journey began at a young age, and in 2006, at the age of 16, he made the decision to be baptized.
A graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Public Relations, Zach later earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. In 2015, he married his wife, Halie, and together they now call Johns Creek, GA, home, where they are raising their two daughters, Norah and Hazel.
Professionally, Zach serves as a Manager of Business Development for a software company. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active with CrossFit, cheering on his favorite football teams, and spending quality time with his family.
